High fidelity speaker - FISHTALK

We developend a system for high fidelity underwater sound generation.  The sound is generated by a rigid plate that is actuated using purely electromagnetic forces.

Low cost hydrophone

We only can perform individual monitoring of Lusitanian toadfish nesting males due to the custom made hydrophones that we produce.

This equipment allows us to monitor several locations in Tagus estuary.

AEP setup

To study fish audition we use this setup to perform the auditory evoked potentials (AEP) technique. In this setup we use a high fidelity speaker.
